I’m at Youth Camp

Well, I’m kinda at youth camp. Right now I am sitting in the high class, fancy smancy (spell check doesn’t like that word) Best Western La Grange. They actually didn’t have enough room for me at camp because there were too many campers, which is a good thing. So, I have sacrificed and stayed in a hotel. Other than at night though, I’ve been at a camp. I arrived early yesterday afternoon, and will be leaving tomorrow. While here, I have had 3 projects. 1 being to shoot and edit the vmail. Mission accomplished.

The other 2 projects are shooting 2 Elevate videos. Elevate videos are youth teaching videos that we shoot to be shown in youth small groups (see previous examples: Elevate 01, Elevate 02, Elevate 03). These will be shown this coming fall semester. So far, things have been successful, but I’d have to say that camp is not really the ideal place to shoot a teaching video. That said, I’m excited about how these are going turning out. I am going to be oh so glad to be back home once we are finished. This camp thing is exhasting.
