Got your attention.  I get a little addicted to checking my stats on Google analytics.  It is a big deal to me if I have 17 people read one day vs 15 the day before.  2 more site visits, YES!  Besides all sorts of features including map overlay of visitors, tracking content that is being viewed and how long, and showing the sites that have directed traffic to mine Google analytics has a really cool feature that gives you keywords that were typed into a search engine that resulted in someone visiting my blog. Here are some of my recent favorites:

  • cholosteatoma (I’ve had one of these)
  • gerald mcraney (huh?!)
  • all for love you gave it all for love with every drop of blood lyrics (obvious)
  • ammoral meaning (not sure)
  • sufjan stevens kaskaskia river (maybe from my last.fm)
  • capresso infinity (I love my new espresso machine)
  • pit shaving girl video (wow.  first, why search for this.  second, how’d they end up here?)
  • buckhead church sucks (funny how words get combined. for the record I’ve never typed these words in this order on this blog…until now)
