Flickr Friday: 37 weeks

Ok, really 36 weeks and 4 days, but who is keeping count (me). Christina is doing so well right now. She went to the doctor on Thursday and all is good. Parker is growing right on schedule and Christina is healthy. Christina has been having lots of Braxton-Hicks contractions lately, so we know she is warming up. The entire Dr visit was positive, but the doctor did say, “see you next week if you make it until then” to Christina. I’m sure she says that to most mothers-to-be when they reach this point. We are praying that Parker waits at least 2 more weeks so that I am back on my feet and ready to take care of things. I really don’t want him to be born and have everyone worried that because I’m so dizzy all the time they don’t want me to hold him. So Parker, just give us a little more time bud.

Doesn’t Christina look beautiful! I have the most amazing wife. She has taken such great care of me during this whole surgery ordeal in spite of the fact she is going through so much on her own. I believe that Jesus knew what he was doing when he gave me her.
